Yahoo! has released a peppy new beta version of Yahoo Messenger - Yahoo Messenger 9.0 Beta with loads of improved features. Yahoo! Messenger 9 sports a new design, with around 5 colourful skins available by default.
Yahoo! Messenger 9 is only available for Windows XP and Vista.
Yahoo Messenger 9 has an improved contacts list, and offers easy-to-access options like the ability to instant message, text message, call your buddy - everything is just a click away. Other Address Book contacts are also displayed below the normal contacts list on Yahoo! Messenger 9.
Version 9.0 Beta has new emoticons. Plus, it has got an inline player - you can just type the link of a video URL (like YouTube, etc.) and watch the video inside the chat window itself without having to open your browser. Same applies to Flickr and normal images.
In this version, you can save pictures sent by your friends directly to your Flickr account easily. Rest, it’s got the usual ads and other irritants like Yahoo! Insider.
You can download Yahoo! Messenger 9 from this official Yahoo! site. Here’s a tip: if you don’t want Yahoo Messenger loading up everytime you start Windows, try this.
